The common toads here - BUFO BUFO, you should always use the
latin names if entering in natural history sections, were set up.

I caught them at a local pond, put them in a set piece to
photograph them, then returned them to where I obtained them.

I can see nothing wrong in this as long as the animals are not
distressed, and the end product looks correct.



It certainly means that lighting and so on can be arranged
before hand, and the end product should be as you require.

The camera was on a tripod and a weak flash fill used to simulate
full sun on a cloudy bright day.
